Law: Lecturer in International Criminal Law

The School of Law invites applications for a lecturer in international criminal law. Applicants must be capable of teaching general public international law and international criminal law at LLB and LLM levels. An interest in international law on armed conflict and the use of force, and United Nations law, would be advantageous. The successful applicant will ideally have a good record of research publications (or prospective publications) and will be expected to contribute to the School's 2013 REF submission.

It is essential that the successful candidate's research furthers the high international reputation of the School, and that he or she demonstrates strong commitment to teaching and administration. Outstanding achievement or demonstrable potential for excellence, in research will be an essential criterion of appointment.

The position is available from 1^st August 2012. Appointment will be on an open-ended basis.

Salary Scale: £37,012 - £44,166
