Full Time The appointment will be on UCL Grade 8. The salary range will be £39,818 - £46,972 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
The Faculty of Laws at UCL has a world-class academic reputation confirmed by its ranking in the UK government 2008 Research Assessment Exercise (RAE). It is also rated in the highest category in the UK for higher education teaching excellence.
The Faculty now invites applications from outstanding scholars for a Lectureship in Public International Law. In addition to teaching on our LLB, the successful candidate will be expected to bring strength to our large and diverse LLM. An expertise in international human rights law and war law is desirable.
Applicants will need to have a higher degree, preferably a doctorate, in Law or a cognate area, with a specialism in Public International Law. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate scholarship in their field, the ability to teach successfully at higher education level and a commitment to developing funded research in the field.
